Description:
- Particle standards are a set of uniform spheres that are used as a size reference to estimate the sizes of other particulates, biomolecules, and living organisms. These particles are also used in QC as well as the validation of analytical methods. This series consists of a Polystyrene strain and a Silica strain. The Polystyrene strain is suited for very comparisons as the sizing is much more diverse. The Silica strain has fewer available sizes but is denser and more durable than the Polystyrene strain. These size standards are valuable in applications including microscopy, physical measurement of micron and submicron sizes, study of colloid systems and equipment efficiency.
